A man's body was found floating in Belton Lake over the weekend and it has been deemed a suicide.
The Bell County Sheriff’s Department said that deputies were dispatched to Sparta Valley Park after a fisherman found a man floating in the water.
The man had a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at 8:25 a.m.
