A man is in jail after the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office concluded a child exploitation investigation.
The sheriff's office said that the investigation began in May. Officials say that Michael Andrew Hartley had talked to a child he thought to be under the age of 17. While talking to the individual, Hartley sent nude photographs of himself and sent links to adult porn sites. He also engaged in "sexually explicit talk and requested photographs from the child."
Hartley, of Buda, was taken into custody for two counts of online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony.
A search of Hartley's property found a felony amount of narcotics.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Hays County Sheriff's Office and the Buda Police Department.
