Attempted car robbery results in crash

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) -

Killeen Police are searching for two men, accused of an attempted car robbery. 

Officers responded the call just after 12:15 Friday morning. Police officials say the victim left his car running when he stopped at the Valero station in the 1000 block of West Stan Schlueter Loop. When he returned to the vehicle, he said two men were inside.

A fight ensued and one of the suspects attempted to drive off, before crashing the victim's vehicle into a fence.

The victim wasn't seriously hurt and was treated on scene.

Both suspects fled the scene after the crash.
