A 54-year-old man is dead after being found in a grain silo Wednesday.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said a call came in at 5:05 p.m. about a man, identified as David Amaro, trapped under flowing grain after falling into a silo.
The sheriff and a deputy responded to the scene and climbed into the silo trying to get Amaro out.
Amaro was found dead several hours later. The incident happened at Bottlinger Grain Silo on F.M. 932 outside of Hamilton.
