Waco police are investigating after a man was shot while witnessing several people having an argument.
Waco police said the 36-year-old victim was walking in the area of S. 12th Street and La Salle Avenue and saw several 18 to 20-year-olds arguing around 1 a.m.
One of the men in the argument got into a blue van, left the area, and shortly returned with a gun. The suspect began shooting from the van toward the victim, hitting him in his right shoulder.
The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries. He said he did not know any of the subjects involved.
