Police identify pedestrian killed in parking lot

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

The Waco Police Department said that a man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in a convenience store parking lot on 1234 N. 18th St. Monday night.

The man has been identified as 52-year-old Dennis Spratt, of Waco. 

Spratt was taken to Baylor Scott and White where he died shortly after midnight. 

Police made contact with the driver at the scene. 

The Waco Accident Reconstruction Detective is investigating the crash. At this time, no arrests have been made.
