Baylor Head Football Coach Matt Rhule said two players are no longer with the team.

A third player, Terence Williams, was voted to stay on the team by the board. Williams is a fourth-year junior running back. He was an honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2016.

Coach Rhule said he would not go into details on who was involved in Williams reinstatement. He called it a second chance, and Rhule met with Williams about being a better teammate.

The two players, Ishmael Wilson and Jourdan Blake, were dismissed for non-criminal reasons. Coach Rhule said they will remain at Baylor to obtain their degree.

Jourdan Blake is a fourth year junior defensive back. He moved to corner during 2017 spring practice. He is the son of the former Buffalo Bills defensive line coach and Oklahoma head coach John Blake, according to the Baylor Bears website.

Ishmael Wilson was the senior offensive lineman and transferred from Texas A&M in the summer of 2014.

The Baylor Bears are 0-4 on the season, and have a bye week this weekend before taking on Oklahoma State University.
