Baylor WBB: Welcome Back Supper Set for Oct. 5

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

The Lady Bear Tipoff Club (TOC) invites all members and prospective members to the 18th Annual Welcome Back Supper on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. (CT) inside the Ferrell Center.

There will be a theme this year, Welcome Back Y’all, and all attendees are encouraged to wear western clothing. Concourse doors open for the event at 5:30 p.m., and floor seating begins at 6 p.m.

Head coach Kim Mulkey will be in attendance to preview the upcoming season and introduce the Lady Bears, including the four freshmen. The price for admission to the covered dish dinner is a salad, vegetable dish or dessert to share. Chicken tenders, gravy, rolls and iced tea has been generously furnished by Bush’s Chicken.

TOC membership forms will be available for those interested in joining this year. Season tickets and additional ticket packages will also be available for purchase at the event. Tickets can also be purchased through the Baylor Athletics Ticket Office online at www.baylorbears.com/tickets and by phone at 254-710-1000.

The Lady Bears begin regular season practices on Friday, Oct. 13, and hold their first exhibition against Tarleton State inside the Ferrell Center on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m. Following a second exhibition against Washburn on Monday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m., in Waco, Baylor tips off the 2017-18 regular season against Lamar on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m., at home.
