The McLennan Highlanders men’s golf team is ranked ninth in the first Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll regular-season poll of the fall.
Indian Hills sits atop the poll followed by Midland in second and New Mexico in third. Iowa Western and Western Texas are tied for fourth.
McLennan, Midland, New Mexico and Western Texas all compete in NJCAA Region V.
The Highlanders opened the fall season with a third-place finish at the Andrews Collegiate/Amateur Invitational and will compete in the NJCAA Division I National Preview Oct. 16-17 at The Rawls Course in Lubbock.
