Limestone County K9 receives body armor

LIMESTONE COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

A Limestone County Sheriff's Office K9 named Jack received body armor on Friday after a donation was made. 

The body armor protects against bullet and stab wounds and was a gift by an anonymous sponsor. The vest was embroidered with the sentiment "the gift of protection provided by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc." 

Each vest for a K9 is valued at anywhere between $1,795 to $2,234. 

Vested Interest in K9s is a charity located in East Taunton, MA.
