The Bellmead Police Department said they arrested a man for exposing his private parts to a woman.
On Sept. 27 at around 2:44 a.m., police received a call from a local motel clerk located in the 1500 block of Hogan Lane.
When officers responded they saw a man walking out of the lobby. The clerk told officers he was the subject involved. He was identified as 39-year-old Leon Schmitz.
The clerk told police that Schmidt walked into the lobby wanting a room. While he was waiting he made vulgar comments to the clerk.
She stated that the man walked to the side of the counter and exposed his private parts to her. She stated he did it multiple times while she was trying to get a room payment processed so she could get him out the lobby and away from her.
His card was declined and only asked him to leave but he refused. That is when she called the police.
Schmitz was taken to the McLennan County Jail for Indecent Exposures and Criminal Trespass.
The investigation is ongoing.
