A man avoided serious injury after losing control of his vehicle and running off the road in Chalk Bluff on Saturday night.
The Chalk Bluff Fire Department said that at 8:40 p.m., a man was driving in the 1500 block of W. Elm Mott drive when he lost control on a curve, ran into a drainage ditch and flipped his vehicle upside.
He was able to exit the vehicle when McLennan County Sheriff deputies arrived.
The man was examined by East Texas EMS but was not transported to the hospital.
DPS is investigating the crash.
