The Groesbeck Fire Department held a fundraiser on Aug. 12 to raise money for the family of Matt Koncaba, the firefighter that was seriously hurt in a crash in San Antonio on Aug. 6.
The fire department was able to collect over $5,500.
The Koncaba family said, he is out of the ICU and is recovering in rehab.
