Section of highway in China Spring to be closed for roadway project

TxDOT will be closing a section of Flat Rock Road in China Spring from Aug. 15 to Aug. 22 to rebuild the roadway.

Flat Rock Road will be closed to traffic from FM 1637 to FM 3434.

The project will be to widen the roadway from two lanes to four lanes with a raised median.

The entire project started in 2016 and is expected to be finished the Summer of 2018.
