A 21-year-old man has been arrested for the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Bell County.
The incident was initially reported May 7, 2017, when the victim made an outcry.
Special Crime Unit conducted an investigation and identified the suspect as Jacob Baca, of New Mexico.
On Aug. 9, a warrant was issued for Baca’s arrest, and he was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child under age 17 the following day, Bell County Sheriff’s Office said.
Baca’s bond has been set at $50,000.
