Officers responded to the A&M Smoke shop on W. Waco Drive to a call of aggravated robbery at 11 p.m. on Saturday night.
The owner was outside when he saw a man armed with a handgun approaching the store from the east side of the building. He then ran inside to warn his customers and ran out the back door.
The suspect entered the business while waving his gun customers, and went straight behind the counter. He tried to open the cash register but was unable. The suspect then fled without taking anything.
The man was described as late 20’s or early 30’s, muscular build and wearing clothes completely covering his face and body.
Police said there were multiple customers inside the store. Most of them left during the incident but one customer remained in the store to finish her eight-liner game, unfazed by the ordeal.
No one was injured and no arrests were made.
