Two men arrested for trespassing, burglary after hiding on top of building

College Station police arrested two men after they burglarized multiple cars and hid on top of a building, Thursday night.

At 8:51 p.m., Officers got a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle at 1505 Park pl. The caller said he saw two men inside multiple vehicles and was able to give accurate descriptions and directions of where the suspects fled.

The suspects were spotted entering the Northgate Entertainment District. They attempted to hide in a construction site nearby, police said.

At 10:18 p.m., officers located them hiding on top of a building in the 300 block of Boyett Street.

They were arrested and charged with criminal trespass and two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle.

One suspect was identified as 19-year-old Devonte Evans, of Bryan, and the other suspect’s name was not released due to him being a juvenile.

The case is still under investigation.
