There will be a one-lane closure on I-35 northbound lane through Troy on the night of Aug. 8.
The reason for the closure is to move traffic over onto a section of new pavement, according to TxDOT.
Also, the northbound exit ramp into Troy (Exit 308) will be closed and will remain closed for several weeks, as contractors build a new off-ramp.
Drivers will have to use exit 306 (FM 1237/ Pendleton Rd) and remain on the access road from there to Troy.
When the new off-ramp is finished, it will be located about 1.5 miles south of the current location.
