Copperas Cove ISD's technology staff attended a four-day Schoology-Next conference in Chicago, Illinois.
They attended keynote presentations that provided a map of the future of Schoology desire to integrate with other web-based resources or organizations because of its utilization of industry interoperability standards.
Through Schoology, teachers submit their lesson plans to their administrators, which allows students to access instructional resources and materials anywhere at anytime through the internet. This makes it easier to facilitate assessments and provide immediate feedback to students.
"The Schoology NEXT Conference was a wonderful experience in the world of Educational Technology, said Dani Patterson, technology integration facilitator. "I enjoyed learning ways to use our Schoology to benefit teachers, students, and the community. The ample opportunities to meet other users and collaborate was the best part of the experience for me. I gained a wealth of information and I can't wait to share all I learned with CCISD staff.”
Parents can also be connected to their child's Schoology account. Parents and students can communicate with teachers in a safe, monitored environment.
