Investigators with the Temple Fire Marshal's Office are asking for help in locating the owner of a black Ford Mustang with white racing stripes, approximately 2005 model or similar.

Temple Fire and Rescue said that this car was seen in the area of a large fire off of Pea Ridge Road on July 30. It was also seen at two other fires a short time later. The vehicle was seen by multiple eye witnesses in the area of the fire as well as surveillance photos.

Investigators would like to speak with the driver or anybody who may have information that would help to identify the owner.

You can remain anonymous and the Fire Marshal’s Office offers a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of arsonists. If you have any information regarding the fires on July 30, or any other fires, please call the Fire Marshal’s Office at (254)298-5955, or send an email to TFMO@templetx.gov.

The mission of the Temple Fire Marshal’s Office is to prevent loss of life and damage to property by preventing fires through code enforcement, fire safety education, arson detection and prosecution.
