The Lake Air Little League is headed to the World Series after a win against New Mexico.
On August 1, they defeated New Mexico 6-1 and won their first Southwest Regional title.
The Lake Air Little League softball team has also won their first State title this week after a win over Helotes.
They will play in Portland, Oregon for the World Series title.
The girls will be the Lowe's on 201 N. New Rd. in Waco on Aug. 2 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. collecting donations for their trip to Portland. A GoFundMe page has also been set up for the team.
