Groesbeck Police Department will host National Night on Aug. 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Groesbeck City Park.
Free food and activities will be provided. There will be a zip line, mechanical bull, obstacle courses, a dunking booth and more.
Various local law enforcement agencies will be there as well as the Kids Safe and Teen Safe program, Limestone County Victim Services program and the Texas Department of Transportation rollover simulator.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Communities across the country participate in this event each year.
