Deputies arrested a woman overnight after she led them on a multi-county chase.

Hill County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy R.D. White said the woman called the sheriff's office and asked for help dealing with a disturbance involving her boyfriend.

When deputies arrived to speak with the woman, White said she pulled away, left the area, and failed to yield to emergency units.

"She left her boyfriend on the side of the road, and he took off running," White said.

Deputies did not apprehend him.

White said the woman drove from Hill County down to Belton with speeds up to 100 miles per hour.

She turned back around and headed northbound on I-35. Her car came to a stop near mile marker 315, White said.

Deputies took her into custody.

The woman's identity and the charge or charges she's facing were not immediately available.
