With love from family and friends, Ruby Oats celebrated a century and a year today.
She was born on July 2017, 1916, when Woodrow Wilson was the President.
The Grosebeck resident said "she didn't do anything special, except live well and work hard" to have such a long life.
The staff at Groesbeck LTC Nursing and Rehab through her a surprise birthday party.
Ruby chose to have birthday pie instead of cake. She said "well, this is what I like to eat."
