A fire that happened at a Hewitt Dairy Queen is being investigated after fire marshals determined it wasn't accidental.

Hewitt Fire Chief Lance Bracco said the fire happened on July 21 at 9 p.m at 200 Legacy Drive.  The fire had started on the wall of the women's restroom. The fire had been contained to the wall.

Waco Fire Marshals were called in to investigate and determined that the fire was "not accidental" and "not electrical," per the Hewitt Assistant Police Chief Tuck Sanders.

Dairy Queen remained closed over the weekend and reopened Monday.

There has been no suspects or estimate of damage costs at this time.
