The Waco Police Department said they are investigating heavy gunfire that happened in a North Waco neighborhood.
On July 21 at around 4:20 p.m., 911 operators received calls of gunfire in the 2400 block of Grim Ave.
Once on the scene, officers found several cars had been shot up.
Police determined that at least four males suspects pulled up to a home and began shooting. Three cars were struck multiple times by the gunfire.
Police don't believe anyone was struck by gunfire.
At least 70 ammunition casings were recovered at the scene. It included several calibers of pistol and rifle rounds.
