Temple Police said they responded to a stabbing of a 16-year-old girl in Temple on Thursday around 1:03 a.m.
The incident happened at The Oaks Apartments on Camellia Drive.
Police said the teen and a 16-year-old boy were outside in the parking lot when the victim became extremely angry and began hitting the suspect. He then stabbed the victim and fled the scene on foot. Officers then attempted to locate him at his residence, but they were not successful.
The victim has a stab wound in her left side and her back, but police said she is not believed to have life threatening injuries.
