(RNN/CNN) – Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner is the latest celebrity to reveal she has considered running for Senate.

The former reality TV star said she may run for the Senate in California during an appearance on New York’s A.M. 970.

Jenner, 67, is a lifelong Republican and a supporter of President Donald Trump. As a transgender activist, however, she did clash with Trump over his policies regarding transgender students.

Earlier this year, Jenner told CNN’s Don Lemon that she was thinking about running for office.

Jenner says she plans to make a decision on the matter within the next six months or so.

The news comes less than a week after musician Kid Rock issued a statement saying he may run for Senate in Michigan.
