The Fire Department in Cameron said they responded to a trailer fire July 16 at 107 N Bowie in Cameron.
One occupant was asleep inside the trailer and woke up when the fire broke out. He was identified as James Martinez.
Neighbors helped him out the window. Martinez suffered several burns and is in critical condition.
EMS took him to Scott and White hospital in Temple. He was transported to a burn center in Dallas.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the State Fire Marshal Office will continue the investigation.
