The gas leak at Texas A&M has now stopped. Beutel has opened again.
According to Texas A&M Twitter page, the University issued a Code Maroon at 2:36 p.m. on July 13.
TAMU Police say the leak happened at 1:25 p.m. when a backhoe that was repairing the parking lot struck the line.
Atmos contained the leak at 2:40 p.m.
Houston St. in front of Beutel remains closed to vehicles.
