Paisley Boyd passed away on May 20 after spending most of her life in the hospital.

Jennifer Aston and Billy Boyd's daughter Paisley had a rare genetic condition that gave her an extra chromosome and many health problems.

"She had a lot of health issues and some things with her heart and her airway and things like that, that cause some difficulties so it was really just kind of one day at a time," Boyd said.

But, her days were cut too short.

"She was everything to us and she gave us a reason to get up every day and despite everything that she went through she fought until the very last second and it was probably the toughest day of my life," Boyd said.

Following Paisley's death almost two months ago, the couple still holds on to everything they can to remember her.

"This is a part of her ashes and her hand and footprint from the day she passed," Aston said.

But after thieves recently broke into their car, a crime caught on security camera video, they are now missing what little they had left to hold onto from Paisley.

"She had her wallet stolen out of her vehicle about a week ago and Paisley's hospital band was in her wallet," Boyd said.

The couple says in addition to her ID band, the thieves have her Social Security card and now Paisley's parents simply want whoever took them to give them back.

"All we want is our daughter's stuff. We don't care about the money, you already have it, keep it. You don't have to show your face or who you are or anything just please return things to that are irreplaceable to us," Boyd said.
