The Bryan Police Department is investigating a motorcycle accident that occurred on July 8 at around 9:30 p.m.
Officers responded to the 2300 block of Old Reliance at North Earl Rudder frontage Rd where a motorcycle occupied by two people was traveling North on the frontage road when it ran a red light striking a car that was traveling eastbound over the overpass onto Old Reliance Rd.
The two people on the motorcycle were transported to CHI St. Joseph Hospital.
The passenger identified as 44-year-old Melissa Fuchs resident of Franklin died from her injuries. The driver of the motorcycle is currently in critical condition.
The two occupants on the motorcycle were not wearing helmets.
The driver of the car was not injured.
