People from all over Central Texas got a taste of Salado Saturday.
The Salado Swirl, an annual event, attracted nearly 200 people to town Saturday afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m.
Participants of the wine trail had the chance to stop at seven spots around town to taste the wines of local wineries.
They started their journey at the Chamber of Commerce where they picked to their glass and map.
"We want people to come in and be able to walk up and down Main Street and go in and out of our stores, our B&Bs, of our wineries, and just interact with all of our owners and just see everything Salado has to offer," Erin Klingemann, the Interim Executive Director of Salado Chamber of Commerce Tourism Bureau, said.
This is the sixth year the Salado Swirl has been held.
