One man is in custody after a chase on Interstate 14 Highway 190 Friday evening.
The pursuit started at 6:16 p.m. off of Interstate 14. The suspect did not pull over when Killeen police officers attempted to make a traffic stop.
During the pursuit, the driver threw items out of his vehicle.
Police said that spike strip used to stop the vehicle resulted in one flat tire at OW Curry Drive and Rampart Loop.
The suspect got out of the car and took off running from officers but was apprehended at 6:30 p.m.
