College Station man charged for burglary on Thursday morning

This morning at 7:49 a.m., College Station police officers responded to a call of a burglary in the 200 block of Marion Pugh Drive.

A resident of an apartment complex on Marion Pugh Drive reported she heard a noise downstairs in her apartment. She went downstairs and saw an unknown male leaving with her property. She confronted the male and took her property back from him before calling 911.

Police said the suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Adam Martin.

During the investigation, police said Martin was found with marijuana on him.

Martin was charged with burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony, and possession of fewer than two ounces of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor.
