Police investigating multiple vehicle burglaries

LAMPASAS, TX (KXXV) -

The Lampasas Police Department said they are investigating a burglary of a vehicle.

Lampasas police said they received a report of the car burglary with a wallet stolen from the car. 

Lampasas police determined the car had possibly been stolen due to doors and glove compartments of the car being open.

The vehicle burglaries that have occurred or believed to have occurred, are on the 400 block of West Avenue B, 300 block of South Race, 400 block of West Second St., 200 block of South Broad, and the 300 block of South Walnut. 

Police urge the public to always remove your keys from the car, not leave any valuables in the car, and always lock your car.
