Water level on Lake Brazos to be lowered for debris removal

The Lake Brazos water level will be lowered for debris removal, according to the City of Waco.

The water level will be lowered by 12 inches to allow for "the removal of accumulated debris on the Lake Brazos Dam."

Work to remove the debris from above and below the water surface will start on July 5.

The project will be completed within 90 days.
