Traffic alert: Traffic being diverted off of southbound Interstate 35

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

Traffic is being diverted off of southbound Interstate 35 due to a "vehicle incident," according to Waco police. 

According to Waze, there is a heavy traffic jam affecting the areas right downtown Waco near Baylor University.

No other details were released, but Waco police confirmed they were on scene.
