The Autonomous Brown Berets, a human rights organization, went to Killeen City Hall to voice concerns over Senate Bill 4, known as the "sanctuary cities" bill, that was signed into law in May.

The group is urging the Killeen City Council to join the fight against SB4 and the state of Texas.

They group posted on their Facebook page:

“SB4 is a dangerous Bill that requires all governing bodies including CITY COUNCIL members to discriminate against Xicano, Mexicanos, and other Hispanics, based solely on the way they look and sound."

This bill will require all forms of law enforcement, campus police and sheriff departments, to discriminate as well. This bill goes into full effect Sept 1st.”

The organization is demanding that Killeen City Council join the class action lawsuit against the bill and the State.
