A man was arrested for kidnapping his 46-year-old ex-girlfriend on Friday in Bellmead.
According to the arrest affidavit, a few days after the kidnapping, Michael Holt engaged in a physical altercation with the victim while driving down the road in his truck.
The affidavit said that Holt attempted to push the victim out of the moving truck and slammed his brakes, causing the victim to hit her head on the dash.
The fighting continued to Holt’s apartment. When the victim attempted to call 911, Holt knocked the phone out of her hand.
Holt was charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping and interference with a 911 call. He is being held at the McLennan County Jail with his bond set at 202,000.
