Temple Fire Department said they were called to a house fire Thursday night in the 500 block of E. Avenue F.
At 10:22 p.m. the first of nine units in the fire department arrived at the house to find flames showing from the front entrance of the house. The fire department said the fire was quickly distinguished and limited to the front door and surrounding wall.
Temple Police and Scott & White EMS also responded to the call. The scene was cleared by 11:09 p.m.
Police said losses are estimated under $1,000.
There were no injuries in this incident.
