Congressman Roger Williams and his correspondent Zachary Barth stopped by Capitol Hill to try to donate blood to support Congressman Steve Scalise, who was wounded in the shooting at a congressional baseball practice on June 14.

Barth was one of the five people that resulted injured from the attack.

Barth joined Williams' office in September after working for five months for former Texas Republican congressman Randy Neugebauer, according to public records.

Williams sprained an ankle and was on crutches after the attack.

Barth is a 2015 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in government.

The shooter in the attack has been identified as James. T. Hodgkinson, a resident of Illinois. After an exchange of gunfire with police, the shooter died.
