The City of Copperas Cove is now accepting applications for three positions.
Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful Commission roles included developing and recommending policies related to litter prevention, beautification and community improvement. The commission group consists of 15 members, each for three-year terms, and meets on the first Monday of every month.
Positions on the Board of Adjustment serves as an appeal body for individuals seeking variances to the Zoning Ordinance or to a decision made by an administrative official enforcing the ordinance. The board consists of five members, each appointed for two-year terms, and meets monthly on the second Thursday.
Planning & Zoning Commission roles include reviewing and considering submitted site plans and plats, as well as make recommendations to the City Council on Zoning Ordinance amendments, Comprehensive Plan amendments and Specific Use Permits and rezoning requests. The commission consists of seven members, each appointed to three-year terms, and meets monthly on the fourth Monday.
Applications are available at 914 S. Main St., Suite C, or at the attached PDF below. Completed applications must be submitted to the office of the City Secretary by July 31, 2017 at 5 p.m.
