Gatesville police warn public of 'expensive cooler' theft

The Gatesville Police Department posted on their Facebook page that they are asking the public's help in getting leads about multiple thefts that have occurred over the last 10 days in the area.

The Gatesville police said expensive coolers have been stolen from porches and vehicles. The thefts have occurred on multiple streets including Oak Drive, Hillcrest, Pidcoke and Westview.

The stolen coolers are from Ozark, Yeti, Kodi, and Artic brands and other stolen property has also been reported, worth up to $400 in value.

Police are urging people to lock up their belonging and to not leave any expensive values on porches or in the bed of trucks.
