HOUSTON, TX (KXXV) -

A wreck reported in Waller County was a little...wild.

A van containing exotic animals was on its way to Houston for a petting zoo when it was involved in a crash.

The crash happened on Highway 290 in Waller County Tuesday afternoon, according to KTRK-TV.

The animals, which included a kangaroo, pygmy goat, alpacas, etc. were taken to the veterinarian to get checked out.

The Waller County Animal Control told KTRK that some animals suffered minor injuries but that all of the animals are okay, as all were properly secured in their cages.

No human injuries were reported.
