A person found dead in the parking lot of a business in June has been identified.
A person, identified as Richard Haan, 69, was found deceased in the parking lot of Sam's Truck & Trailer Repair, located on 11303 W. State HWY 36 in Temple just before 12:50 p.m. on June 20.
The Department of Public Safety said the incident was a pedestrian-automobile accident.
The driver of the vehicle, Sarah Haan, 65, was not injured. Richard died at the scene.
DPS said that Sarah has backed up and hit Richard.
There are no charges being filed, according to DPS.
The investigation is ongoing and involves the Texas Rangers.
