The woman who police said concealed a gun in her vagina during an arrest in 2015 was sentenced to 10 years probation for possession of methamphetamine,  the McLennan County 54th District Court said.

Police said that Ashley Castaneda was arrested during a traffic stop near an elementary where police found meth in the vehicle. The incident happened in September of 2015.

Police say the driver, Gabriel Garcia, was found to be in possession of 2.7 grams of methamphetamine that he had concealed under his driver’s seat.

Authorities also found 29.5 grams of methamphetamine in Castaneda's purse along with a set of digital weighing scales.

Police arrested Castaneda and the driver, Gabriel Garcia, at the scene.

Police said that on the way to the jail, Castaneda told the officer she had a gun concealed in her vagina.

Officers immediately stopped, and a female officer searched Castaneda discovering that she had placed a loaded Smith and Wesson pistol inside her body cavity.

Police also said the weapon had a round chambered and a full magazine of bullets.
