The Department of Public Safety said that a man has been arrested after leading police on a multiple county chase.
DPS said that a trooper attempted to pull over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop. The vehicle was traveling north on Highway 6 in Robertson County around midnight.
The chase continued into Falls and McLennan County on Highway 6.
DPS said that police tried multiple times to deploy spikes, but they were unsuccessful. DPS finally stopped the vehicle near Loop 340 near the McLennan County Jail.
The 21-year-old man who was arrested is from College Station. He is now in the Robertson County Jail.
