Accident shuts down left lane on Interstate 35

TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) -

A traffic accident has shut down a lane on Interstate 35 going northbound in Temple. 

The accident happened near exit 300. 

The accident happened in the left lane. Witnesses at the scene say a vehicle was rear-ended. 

According to Waze, there is a backup due to the accident.
