One man is dead after a pickup truck crashed in Axtell. The man has been identified as Rudy Gabaldon of Crane, TX.
According to DPS, the crash happened at 5:22 a.m. in the 1500 block of FM 2311. Troopers say the driver was headed south from Leroy when the pickup ran off the road.
The southbound lane of Heritage Parkway is now closed while DPS investigates.
